"I am interested in exploring the role of artist as invested generalist. I think it is important to be able to do things yourself".
Megan Anderson’s work explores alternatives to consumer based standardization and economic exchange and looks to find ways of creating a broad and diverse social discourse through contemporary art, design, and architectural practice.
Originally from Vancouver, Anderson received a diploma in Studio Arts from Capilano College, a BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and recently completed an MFA at the University of Victoria. She has exhibited across Canada and in the United States.
